Priya Sachdev Kapur, who is the third spouse of businessman Sunjay Kapur who passed away in June, has submitted a request to the Delhi High Court asking for a non-disclosure agreement to protect her deceased husband's personal assets. In her request, Priya Kapur indicated that the children of Karisma Kapoor and her mother-in-law Rani Kapur should agree to a non-disclosure deal for the sake of "cybersecurity" and other safety concerns. Karisma Kapoor was the second wife of Sunjay Kapur. In the previous court session, the judge instructed Priya Kapur to provide specifics about her late husband's personal belongings. In reply, she stated she would reveal the assets in a confidential manner but would also require non-disclosure agreements to be signed by everyone who would access the information she shares. The court will revisit this issue at 10 am tomorrow. Priya Kapur is also set to submit the sealed information tomorrow.

Recently, Priya Kapur joined the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) meeting. She has been added to the executive board of ACMA for the 2025-26 term. Her revised professional biography now shows this role, starting from September 12. Sunjay Kapur was the chairman of Sona Comstar and also led ACMA. He passed away while participating in a polo match in the UK in June. Priya Kapur is currently involved in legal matters concerning her deceased husband's estate valued at Rs 30,000 crore. This case, which has been brought to the Delhi High Court, includes accusations from Sunjay Kapur's children from his first marriage, Samaira and Kiaan, along with his mother and sister, who have questioned the legitimacy of Sunjay Kapur's will. The children of Sunjay Kapur, with their mother Karisma Kapoor as their legal representative, have claimed that Priya Kapur falsified the will, which supposedly leaves everything to her while excluding them from any inheritance.

In response to these allegations, Priya Kapur has argued that Samaira and Kiaan had already acquired assets totaling Rs 1,900 crore from a family trust before the lawsuit began. She insists that the will is legitimate and has requested the court to reject the claims as ungrounded.
