Well-known businessman and industrial leader Anand Mahindra has praised Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for his forward-thinking approach to development and his policies. Anand Mahindra shared a video on his official X account, previously called Twitter, showing Chandrababu Naidu speaking at the opening session of the 30th CII Partnership Summit 2025 in Visakhapatnam. In the video, Naidu introduced an 'escrow system' for investors and presented a vision of reaching $1 trillion in investments for Andhra Pradesh. Anand Mahindra wrote in his post, "This individual is an unstoppable force. What I’ve admired in him for years is not only his dedication to development but also his constant push for innovative policies. He sets high standards for himself and those around him," followed by three clap emojis.
During the CII Summit, Chandrababu Naidu declared that the state government would establish escrow accounts for investors to ensure they receive promised incentives without delay, which drew loud applause from the attendees. He explained, "Once you sign the MoU with the Andhra Pradesh government, the escrow account will be created automatically, and money will be released through the bank in real-time. You don’t need to speak to anyone else. If needed, we will also provide a sovereign guarantee," according to Naidu. At the summit, he emphasized, "In Andhra Pradesh, land is not a concern. It is easy to conduct business here." Naidu pointed out that in the past 18 months, Andhra Pradesh has successfully drawn in $20 billion in investments, leading to the creation of 20 lakh jobs. He set an ambitious target to attract $500 billion in investments over the next three years, creating 50 lakh jobs and aiming for a total of $1 trillion in investments over the next ten years.
Chandrababu Naidu encouraged investors to select Andhra Pradesh, as it presents numerous opportunities, assuring them of benefits like an escrow account and 'sovereign guarantee'. He stated, "There are many opportunities. You have resources, technology, and knowledge. Come and help us build," mentioning that the state excels in agriculture, horticulture, dairy, coffee, spices, and many other sectors. Naidu promised the best incentives and regulations, stating he would provide the escrow account facility and 'sovereign guarantee' to investors. He also highlighted that Andhra Pradesh ranks first in terms of ease of doing business and mentioned a shift towards quicker business operations.
This man is an unstoppable force of nature.

He called on international firms to finalize memorandums of understanding before departing the summit, promising them a successful history in implementation from the state. "Once the MoU is signed, you won’t need to remind us — our team will take action. This is our trustworthiness. For any investment in Andhra Pradesh, everything will be handled promptly with a MoU. We aim to combine technology with agriculture, transportation, ports, and airports — all of it," Naidu stated. In August of this year, Anand Mahindra praised Chandrababu Naidu for highlighting the beaches of Andhra Pradesh, repeating his well-known phrase that "tourism is the only ism that remains."
Anand Mahindra didn’t stop at the beaches and mentioned that there are amazing spots upstream as well. "Vibrant coconut plantations and peaceful waterways are easily accessible," he noted, highlighting a specific site in Dindi, which he called a "peaceful waterway treasure in Andhra — a haven for nature enthusiasts — home to the giant Victoria Amazonica, with leaves that can grow almost 3 meters long, strong enough to support a child." He also shared photos of the Dindi backwaters and the huge Victoria Amazonica leaves. In reply to the post, Naidu expressed: "Thank you for your thoughts @anandmahindra. The only ‘ism’ looking ahead is tourism — it unites people, connects different cultures, creates jobs, and promotes purposeful growth. I value your outlook on developing new destinations. AndhraPradesh has numerous hidden treasures like Dindi that are ready to be found. With a mix of spiritual history and beautiful retreats, our state provides a wealth of experiences for every visitor. I invite you and all leaders in hospitality to collaborate with us in welcoming the world to Andhra Pradesh."
