Pop star Miley Cyrus is mourning and why?
The sensational songstress is overwhelmed with grief at the untimely demise of her Alaskan Klee Kai dog, Floyd, who passed away suddenly on Tuesday.
Despite the loss, Miley put up a brave show in her Boston Bangerz tour, but took a moment to dedicate a song to her beloved pup on stage.
"It's gonna be hard for me on this next song. I'm not sounding myself, I don't feel myself. But I just wanna do one song," the choked-up singer was heard saying before the performance. "I'm sure you guys already know, but the reason that I'm so upset is my dog, I shouldn't say he was my favorite but he was my favorite, he passed away. I just wanna do a song for him. We used to always listen to Fleetwood Mac together, it's his favorite song…so I wanna do this song for Floyd. This song is 'Landslide.'"
Miley's emotional rendition concluded to a roaring applause from fans.
"Today is the 2nd worst day of my life. I don't wanna say it because I don't want it to be real... But my precious baby Floyd has passed away. I am broken," she tweeted.
Cyrus posted pictures of her pet pooch and wrote, "I know I don't mean it but I wish he would've taken me with him. This is unbearable. What am I gonna do without him? I am miserable."
"I'm sorry in advance if I am not myself tomorrow Boston. I will try my best to be my best...I miss him so much..what you don't understand is he's not in a better place the best place he could be was with me... where he was loved more than anything," the tragedy struck songstress signed off.
