TV actress Michelle Dockery will appear in indie film 'Queen of Earth'. Michelle Dockery (of Downton Abbey fame) will join another TV actress Elisabeth Moss (of Mad Men) in the upcoming film.

Alex Ross Perry will direct the movie, which he has also scripted.

The indie movie, being described as a psychological thriller, centres around two women (played by Elisabeth Moss and Michelle Dockery). Tired of the stressful outside world the duo retreat into a beach house. The characters of Moss and Dockery had grown up together as best friends, but at the beach house they soon realize their disconnect from each other. Their suspicions soon surfaces into reality.

Joe Swanberg is producing the film.

Dockery played the role of Lady Mary Crawley in Downton Abbey, for which she has been nominated the third time for lead actress by the Primetime Emmy Awards.

Michelle Dockery recent appearance in movies include the plane thriller 'Non-Stop'. The actress will next appear in 'Selfless', co-staring Ryan Reynolds and Ben Kingsley.
