Patrick Fugit is all set to appear in indie film 'Queen of Earth'. Fugit will be joining Elisabeth Moss and Katherine Waterston in the psychological thriller.
Alex Ross Perry is directing the project. Perry and his Listen Up Philip star Moss will be reunited in this project.
The story of 'Queen of Earth' centers over two childhood friends (played by Elisabeth Moss and Katherine Waterston) who plan and meet at a beach house for a relaxing weekend. But the two friends soon realise that as adults they have become disconnected from each other. And they allow their suspicions to transform into reality.
Patrick Fugit will play the role of a local man who is friends with one of the women. He visits her at the beach house to spend time with her. But the other woman is unhappy about a male being present on their all-girls' trip.
Joe Swanberg is producing the project along with Perry and Adam Piotrowicz. Shooting for the film has started in New York presently.
Fugit's upcoming films include David Fincher's 'Gone Girl', which will release on October 3. His other projects include films 'We Bought a Zoo' and 'Thanks for Sharing'.
