If the latest findings of Ukrainian astronomers are anything to go by, then the world could come to an end nineteen years from now - on August 26, 2032.
Crimean Astrophysical Observatory have spotted a gargantuan 1,300-foot wide asteroid pacing towards our planet at an alarming speed and force, last weekend. Called the Asteroid 2013 TV135, the minor planet is assumed to be as powerful as 2,500 nuclear bombs, and has already been rated by NASA as one of the potentially “most hazardous” asteroid ever recorded. So if it hits the Earth at all, it would mean the end of the civilization.

But there is a silver lining there! The chances of the asteroid hitting Earth is meager, estimated at 1 in 63,000, which means there is a 99.9984 percent chance that life on the planet will continue to flourish as always.
If 2013 TV135 hits the Earth, its impact will be equivalent to 2,500 megatons of explosive power. “The standard U.S. Minute Man II missiles carries a nuclear warhead with an explosive power of a little over 1 megaton,” revealed the Daily Mail. The result would be catastrophic if the asteroid bangs the populated parts of the Earth.
