While addressing the gathering at Sant Samagam Mahotsava in Meerut on Tuesday, he made these controversial comments. He also said that the concept of four wives and 40 children will not work in India in this moment, so, Hindu population must be increased for Hindus to increase their progeny to protect the religion.

Sakshi Mahraj, was in the news many times over controversial comments. He was compelled to apologize to the nation and parliament over the comments on Mahatma Gandhi, terming the Gandhi’s assassin Godse as a ‘True Patriot’.

His praises on Nathuram Godse had shaken the nation during the parliament sessions. Opposition parties had stalled the both the houses of parliament. While withdrawing his remarks,he stated that in 1984, Congress party killed the ideology of Gandhi, relating it to the Anti-Sikh riots.
