Kiran Bedi joined BJP in the presence of BJP chief Amit Shah and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley at 4.20 pm today. Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Upadhyaya and other top leaders of Delhi unit were also there during the formal announcement. Amit Shah hinted media that anyone of BJP worker can become CM. Kiran Bedi shall contest in the Delhi elections. 

After the speech of Amit Shah, Bedi started an extraordinary speech relating to her experience and knowledge in the public issues.

Actress and former MP, Jaya Prada likely to be joined BJP for contesting over AAP Chief, Arvind Kejriwal and she may also be a forerunner for the Chief Minister post. Jaya Prada was member parliament once for Rajyasabha and twice for Lok Sabha. She was TDP member in Rajsabha (1996-2002) and she joined Samjwadi Party in 2004 and represented Rampur Constituency in Lok Sabha from 2004 to 2014.

After being expelled from Samajwadi Party, she joined Ajit Singh’s RLD and gave a failure attempt from Bijnor seat in 2014 general elections. 

Former AAP leader and Social activist Shazia Ilmi too looking at saffron membership. This time AAP have to do more exercise for gaining people’s support amid BJP wave and active campaigning. 

Jaya Prada, while speaking to a private media channel she has not denied the possibility of joining BJP and she has not rejected the media news. However she said that she would like follow the advice of Amar Singh.

The National Capital has been in President's Rule since February 2013 after Kejriwal led AAP government of 49 days. The Election Commission has announced the fresh polls, on February 7th elections shall be conducted and the results will be declared on February 10th.
