India is one of the worst hit countries in the world especially after the Unlock 1.0 happened. The country is at 4,25,000 cases with nearly 14,000 deaths. India has not been successful in flattening the curve. The country has been making new records every day. The recovery rate of the country is the good news which stands at over 50%.

With lot of businesses being down the most affected of all are the travel and hospitality businesses. India has already resumed the domestic travel with in the country but it is most likely to resume International flights in the coming month but that will be after seeing the Covid-19 situation. Though the International travel has not been confirmed, the Ministry of External Affairs has given the green light to resume the visa processing services in the country.

The ministry has told the diplomatic missions in India to start the visa processing services. The government of India is still not sure if they are going to resume the International travel from next month as that is only subjected to the whole pandemic situation.

The Ministry of External Affairs or the MEA has submitted a letter saying the same. They have been garnering a lot of requests from the nationals of the country, trade bodies and various other organizations regarding the difficulties faced by them in obtaining visas for foreign countries. They these difficulties are happening because the diplomatic missions of India are continuously suspending their services on visa processing. The ministry also said that there are various reasons why people are looking to travel to foreign countries and we might as well start the process for the resumption of international flights.
