It all started in China last year and the coronavirus is now all over the globe. Countries like USA, India and Brazil are badly impacted because of coronavirus. Five million residents of China are restricted to their homes after the curbs issued by the government due to the Omicron variant. Beijing, the capital of China is kept on high alert and closed doors considering the spread. The city is preparing to host the Winter Olympics next month. Lockdowns, quarantines and border restrictions are to be implemented before the Olympics will commence. Beijing is currently battling with the huge spread of the Omicron variant in China.

Massive coronavirus tests are ordered for 14 million people in China to prevent the spread of the Omicron variant. All the residents are asked not to leave their homes. All the non-essential businesses are closed and there are 58 local infections that are reported in Anyang. The samples are sent to labs to trace out if all the cases are of the Omicron variant. The outbound travel is restricted so that the spread do not reach the outside regions of the country. Three cities in Henan are completely locked and lakhs of people are staying at home. All the schools, public places and restaurants are shut completely. One million people in Yuzhou are kept at home and strict orders are issued not to step out from their homes. The Chinese government imposed restrictions to several other cities to prevent the spread for now.
