Top political strategist Prashant Kishor has been rushed with offers after his attempts ended up highly successful. Prashant Kishor has been holding talks with Congress party and he submitted a proposal for the party. A committee was formed and the report was submitted for Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi. The Congress party yesterday announced that Prashant Kishor declined the offer to join the party. Congress has initiated plans to prepare for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. “Following a presentation & discussions with Sh. Prashant Kishor, Congress President has constituted a Empowered Action Group 2024 & invited him to join the party as part of the group with defined responsibility. He declined. We appreciate his efforts & suggestion given to party,” tweeted Randeep Singh Surjewala, the Congress' chief national spokesperson.

"I declined the generous offer of #congress to join the party as part of the EAG & take responsibility for the elections. In my humble opinion, more than me the party needs leadership and collective will to fix the deep rooted structural problems through transformational reforms" posted Prashant Kishor on his twitter page. Prashant Kishor met Sonia Gandhi earlier this month. After this, Sonia Gandhi formed a panel of eight members. Prashant Kishor wanted a free hand but Congress has various senior leaders. Prashant Kishor also wanted Priyanka Gandhi Vadra as the party Chief but the party wants Rahul Gandhi as the chief. After lot of differences during the initial stages, Prashant Kishor and Congress parted ways.
