Punjabi pop singer Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead at gunpoint on the evening of Sunday and he passed away on spot. The investigation is going on currently. Union Home Minister Amit Shah flew down to Chandigarh and he met the parents of the late singer in his residence. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann recently paid his visit to the residence of Sidhu Moose Wala. Amit Shah expressed his condolences for the family of Sidhu Moose Wala. The singer passed away a day after the security of the pop singer was brought down.

The postmortem report said that his body had 19 bullet wounds and he died in 15 minutes after the attack. The family of Sidhu Moose Wala wrote to Amit Shah and they sought a probe through a Central agency. The Punjab Chief Minister assured the family of Sidhu Moose Wala that the killers would be arrested at the earliest. Sidhu Moose Wala hails from Moosa village in Mansa district. Sidhu Moose Wala had concerts planned across the globe this year. Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi claimed responsibility for the death of Sidhu Moose Wala and two of his men were arrested and the investigation is on.
