AI Impact Summit 2026, the first global conference on artificial intelligence in India, is ready to kick off. The event, which includes sessions, exhibitions, and keynote speeches, will run from Monday, February 16, to Friday, February 20, but the primary summit events will happen solely on February 19 and 20. This five-day gathering will attract important figures from major AI firms, participating countries, and industry players. Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google, and Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, have confirmed their attendance. Below, we provide all the necessary information about the summit, including how to register for in-person attendance. Anyone wishing to attend the AI Impact Summit 2026 physically must register in advance as a delegate. The registration process is quite simple. First, visit this link and complete the required information. The form will also require a photo of the attendee, so it’s advisable to have a digital picture available for convenience. Furthermore, participants will need to verify their email through an OTP. Keep in mind that signing up for the event is entirely free.
Once you register, you will receive an email containing registration information and a QR code. It’s important to keep this code safe, as security staff will scan it before you can enter the venue. Delegates should be aware that they won't be allowed to attend certain events on February 19, which is when Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officially open the summit. According to the official website, here is the broad agenda for each day of the AI Impact Summit 2026:
February 16 (Monday): Keynote speeches, discussions focused on policy, and expert roundtables will take place. The India AI Expo will also be launched, shaping national goals, encouraging partnerships, and influencing AI discussions for the coming days.
February 17 (Tuesday): Discussions will continue, enhancing dialogues across key sectors. There will be a special seminar on applied AI. Additionally, the Government will unveil the flagship Knowledge Compendia, which includes Casebooks on AI in various fields such as Health, Energy, Education, Agriculture, Gender Empowerment, and Disabilities.
February 18 (Wednesday): The third day will concentrate on research and practical applications. The Research Symposium will be held, along with industry-specific sessions uniting global tech leaders, startups, and sector representatives to showcase scalable solutions, real-life applications, and innovative ideas for the future.
February 19 (Thursday): This is the main opening day of the AI Impact Summit. PM Modi will lead the opening ceremony, after which there will be a CEO roundtable featuring global industry leaders, investors, and policymakers. This roundtable will focus on strategic goals, investment opportunities, and the future of responsible artificial intelligence.
February 20 (Friday): Several council meetings among members of the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) will take place to assess progress, align priorities, and enhance international collaboration on responsible and inclusive AI.
Besides Pichai and Altman, the Government announced that the following individuals will also be present at India's first conference on AI: Among the distinguished attendees are Demis Hassabis, Co-Founder and CEO of Google DeepMind; Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries; Salil Parekh, CEO and Managing Director of Infosys; Cristiano Amon, President and CEO of Qualcomm; K Krithivasan, CEO and Managing Director of Tata Consultancy Services; Julie Sweet, Chair and CEO of Accenture; Matthew Prince, CEO of Cloudflare; Dario Amodei, CEO of Anthropic; Sunil Bharti Mittal, Founder and Chairman of Bharti Enterprises; Alexandr Wang, Chief AI Officer at Meta, and others. It is important to mention that Jensen Huang, Founder and CEO of Nvidia, had to withdraw from the event because of unexpected circumstances.
