Jason Sudeikis is in talks to star in 'Fletch Won' where the actor will play the iconic character of Fletch. This is the first in a series of planned comedy franchise, which will be based on a journalist that was played for the first time by Chevy Chase.

Chase played the iconic role of Fletch in the 1985 classic movie that was followed by a sequel. Based on Gregory McDonald's mystery novels the Fletch movies feature the character I. M. Fletcher, who is an investigative reporter.

The Warner Bros movie is based on the story of Gregory McDonald's novel 'Fletch'. The film is being described as an action comedy with heart and more in line with the original story than the Chase films.

The film is being produced by Steve Golin, Michael Sugar and David List.
