House Arrests Of Three Kashmiri Separatists Ended

The three Kashmiri separatists, Yasin Malik, Mirwaiz Umer Farooq and Syed Ali Shah Geelani, are freed now due to an abrupt end to house arrests just two hours back. They were placed under house arrest days before their travel to Delhi to meet Pakistan's Sartaj Aziz. Sartaj Aziz is scheduled to arrive India this Sunday to hold talks with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval on terror.

Separatists were also invited for the talks to the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi. This invitation to Kashmiri separatists is a definite irritant to India. However, India decided not to cancel the meet and fulfill the Pak’s alleged intention.

Resumption of dialogue in the meeting

The top security officials of both the countries are meeting for the resumption of dialogue after one year. The weak-end meeting will focus on terror as Pakistan troops have fired across borders and targeted civilians in two major attacks in Punjab and Uddhampur in Jammu.

One Pak militant, Mohammad Naveed who was caught there revealed crucial information to the interrogators relating to training camps in Pakistan for terrorists like him.
