Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has finally found her comeback project!
The Bollywood diva, who had been away from the arc lights post motherhood, will make her return to the 70mm screen with a bilingual Tamil/Telugu movie to be directed by P Vasu of 'Hogi Pyaar Ki Jeet Fame'.
Mr. Vasu announced the big news yesterday and claimed that Aishwarya was so floored by the script that she agreed to play the female lead.
The yet-to-be-titled flick will star the actress as a Kalari fighter.
"Aishwarya was really impressed with the script. She will be seen in a never seen before powerful role. She will essay a Kalari fighter in the film and for the same she will undergo special stunt training," Vasu revealed in a statement.
Written by P Vasu, the ambitious movie took two years to be scripted. The director has also roped in world's top class animation companies and Animatronics expert from France to do the visual effects for the film.
To be shot in exotic locales of North India and Cambodia.
The film will be simultaneously released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi and it will be produced by K Ramesh of Global One Studios.
Meanwhile, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has signed in Mani Ratnam's next movie, which will also be shot in Tamil and Telugu. She will star alongside Mahesh Babu, Nagarjuna and Shruti Hassan.
