The BJP on Sunday fired its sharpest missile on Congress by releasing a video and a booklet accusing Robert Vadra of illegal land deals in Haryana and Rajasthan. The latest attack accused the governments of these states of colluding with Vadra to grab lands.

The 8-minute video titled ‘Damaad Shri’accuses Haryana's Bhupinder Singh Hooda-led government and Rajasthan's previous government led by Ashok Gehlot of violating rules to help Sonia Gandhi's son-in law to acquire land across these two states. The booklet is also titled ‘Damaad Shri’.

BJP's video attacks Sonia and Rahul Gandhi for helping Priyanka Gandhi's husband, Robert Vadra, in illegal land deals.

BJP spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad, while releasing the booklet targeting Vadra, said Sonia and Rahul should explain the Vadra model of development raised by the party (BJP).

The video alleged that the Vadra model was a success owing to the patronage extended by Gandhi family, said Prasad. Vadra's powerful family helped him to make big earnings in the land deals.

Inspite of the deals being in violation of the land and environment laws he was able to make the deals, added the BJP leader.

The video shows a smartly dressed Vadra in a fancy bike and doing work outs in a gym. Vadra has been contrasted with impoverished farmers whose land he had acquired. While the six-page booklet, highlights the various land deals of Vadra in Rajasthan and Haryana.

Priyanka immediately hit back back at the BJP, comparing the saffron party to “panicky rats”. She also said that she was not afraid of the accusations of the BJP. That she would continue to speak out about the destructive, negative and shameful politics of the BJP.

BJP released the video and booklet targeting Vadra hours after Priyanka Gandhi took a dig at BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi over his 56-inch chest remark.
