With accordance to the much awaited verdict of the Supreme Court surrounding the Babri Masjid-Ram Janmabhoomi litigation, the centre has already issued over 4000 personnel from the Central Armed Police Forces in Ayodhya.

Along with that, The Ministry of Home Affairs has also sent out advisories to all the States to maintain the decorum and law and order following the verdict which is going to happen in a few days.

In a statement issued by a senior government official, they mentioned stating, “We have sent an advisory to all States, asking them to keep a watch on law and order as the verdict is set to be announced.”

Following the appeals against the 2010 High Court’s judgement in Allahabad on the title suits filed by the Hindu and Muslim parties, there have been regular hearings done by a five judge bench in the Supreme Court for the upcoming 40 days. The court has also reserved the judgement and a final verdict is expected to be announced anytime in between November 17, 2019.

The same is going to be done when the Chief Justice, Ranjan Gogoi is going to retire.

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) preceding the verdict has already identified around 80 sensitive stations around in Ayodhya and have already ordered better protection and security in those areas.

The advisory included 7 pages and have been sent out to all the zonal headquarters to ensure proper maintenance of the security around the spot. The security has been heightened around the areas of worship and around the railway stations to prevent any kind of issues in terms of security.

The centre has also cancelled the leave sanction of anyone during that time and has made it clear that no one should leave the designated places unattended.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also conducted a much needed video conference with the police officers in charge of all the districts and the high alert regions. They also focused on the security preparedness to further ensure maximum impacts in terms of any kind of situation that arises in the future.

Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police O.P. Singh also asked the police chief on duty to enhance the degree of foot patrolling in some of the high alert and vulnerable areas that have been identified around. The police have also been asked to create a riot control scheme for each of the areas involved around.
