USA Hearfully Thanks India for Delivering COVID-19 Vaccine to Several Countries

During the pandemic, India has been termed as the pharmacy of the world. India produces around 60 percent of the COVID-19 vaccines globally. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared that India is producing and delivering vaccines to benefit all of humanity around the globe to help fight corona virus.

Countries around the world including Brazil and the United States have been thanking India and calling it the globe’s true friend for using its vast pharmaceutical sector to help the global community fight the virus. The US has specially thanked New Delhi for sending out the vaccine to several countries.

Countries that India has supplied to include Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Mauritius, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Brazil, Morocco and Seychelles.

The south and Central Asia Bureau of the US State Department tweeted out on Friday as to how much they thank India for their noble work. House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Gregory Meeks also thanked and appreciated India for supporting its neighbouring countries to fight the pandemic and provide vaccines.

The United States also took to their media to praise India’s support to the global community during the health crisis.

India has sent more than 3 million doses to individual countries around the world. Sri Lanka and Afghanistan are next on the list to receive the vaccine.

The shipping of the vaccine to various countries shows India’s strength as a robust vaccine industry. The pandemic has made India one of the world’s largest vaccine maker.

Prime Minister Modi tweeted last Friday thanking the countries that have honored India for the vaccine.

India has had a staggering 10.7 million cases. 10.3 have recovered and there have been 153 thousand deaths.
