The counting of votes has begun across the country. The leads are trickling in. And from the initial results, BJP seems to be consolidating its lead at breakneck speed. It is leading in 100 seats, while Congress is yet to hit 50. Meanwhile, AAP has bagged a seat in Punjab. As per the current resuylts, NDA is leading at 143, UPA at 54 and Others at 67.
Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi seems to be trailing in Amethi while Nandan Nilekani is trailing in South Bangalore. This is a terrible news for the Gandhi scion. If poll pundits are to be believed, then Rahul might lose his Amethi seat by a huge margin this time.
