Narendra Modi led government cancelled the Foreign Secretary level talks with Pakistan counterpart, amid frequent ceasefire violations and Hurriyat leaders meeting with Pakistan’s High Commissioner in New Delhi.
Hurriyat leaders meeting with Pakistan’s High Commissioner to India escalated the tension over the government formation in Jammu and Kashmir. In contrast to this a senior leader of moderate wing of Hurriyat Conference Abdul Ghani Bhat met PDP patron Mufti Mohammed Sayeed, which created uncertainty over BJP and PDP alliance.
BJP J&K state president Jugal Kishore Sharma responding to query from a private media, said that there is no harm by the meetings of political leaders with others. But, there should not be any interference in the government formation between parties.
Hurriyat leader Abdul Ghani Bhat did not say anything to media on the discussion. However BJP’s Jugal Kishore Sharma said everything can be known after speaking to party president. BJP is eying to be a key player in the government formation. Afspa and article 370 are main agendas of PDP, BJP and Hurriyat now?
However BJP leaders Amit Shah, Ram Madav are continuing the talks with PDP chief and senior leader over the issue. Peace reviving process in Kashmir which was initiated by the “former PM AB Vajpayee” is the key task in front of the political spectrums.
