Breaking: Narendra Modi withdraws the Farm Laws

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing the nation today announced that the Centre has decided to repeal the introduced three farm laws in the country. The farmers staged protests against the introduced farm laws but the Centre was strict on their stand. A series of discussions went through but they weren't successful. Narendra Modi said that the government will take constitutional measures to repeal the farm laws in the upcoming Parliament session. Narendra Modi appealed to the farmers to return back home who have been protesting for months. Modi said that the Centre introduced the farm laws with the best efforts but they failed to convince the farmers. Narendra Modi said that the budget for agriculture has risen by 5 times and the government has been spending Rs 1.25 lakh crore annually for the field.

The big announcement came on the Guru Purab festival. "We may be lacking something in our Tapasya because of which we could not convince the farmers about the farm laws. There is nothing to blame anyone and today is Prakash Parv. I want to tell the nation that we have decided to repeal the announced three farm laws. We could not convince the farmers. A section of them are opposing the laws and we tried hard to educate them and inform them. The opposition parties accused the government of railroading the farm laws and made politics" told Narendra Modi. The farmer unions argue that the farm laws will expose them to unfair the competition and deprive of their earnings.
